If your employer does not offer adoption benefits you can go to the Adoption Friendly Workplace website for a free packet of information that will help you work toward getting adoption benefits added at your workplace.
You may also want to visit the Department of Labor's website or the National Partnership for Women and Families' website for more information on the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
