Although this site has been operating as an informational website in the past, we are just in the beginning stages of forming the Foundation.
We do not have funds raised at this time to be able to distribute to families, thus we are not accepting applications.
Please check back in late Summer 2010 for information about our Grants. We hope to be able to start accepting applications in early Fall 2010.

Our grant program will offer financial assistance to families in the process of adopting.
Grants will vary in amount, depending upon the current number of applicants, as well as the need of those applicants.
We realize that every adoption is different and every situation is different. Our Board of Directors will carefully and prayerfully consider each and every application we receive to determine how best to help as many children and families as possible.
APPLICATION PROCESS: The potential adoptive parent(s) will mail a completed application and nonrefundable $25 application fee (made payable to Affording Adoption Foundation), along with their completed homestudy for review.
The Board of Directors will review applications within 4 weeks of receiving them and will make a determination within 4-6 weeks. You will be notified as soon as a decision has been made. We will weigh the needs of the applicants, as well as the funds available when making this decision.
Funds will be dispersed directly to the adoption agency, not to the adoptive family.
