Support is a good thing!
When you bring home your baby or child for the first time, you are going to get LOTS of advice - trust us! And having friends or family members to provide support and suggestions about raising a child can be helpful, but sometimes raising adopted children presents special challenges. Sometimes you just want someone to call who has been there and has survived!
There are many Post-adoption support groups available throughout the United States. Some schedule monthly meetings, some have email support groups, some have Facebook pages, and others have annual trips to get together with families from all over the country. Hopefully this list will help you find the one that is right for your family. And it never hurts to join more than one group!
